Privacy policy

Last updated October 2, 2026. Short version: the app collects nothing, and the website collects only what's needed to sell you a licence.

The PDF Virtuo app

PDF Virtuo runs entirely on your computer. It does not upload your documents, does not send usage data or telemetry, and does not contact our servers to check your licence. Your documents are never seen by us or anyone else.

This website

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't sell or share your information. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the website.

When you buy

To sell you a licence and deliver it, we keep:

  • your email address, which also appears inside a Personal licence key and in the app as "Licensed to";
  • for a Business licence, your company name, which appears inside the key and in the app instead of your email;
  • your order details: what you bought, when, and the amount;
  • your account sign-in details, if you create an account;
  • if you contact support: your email, your name if you give it, your messages, any files you attach, and the app version and Windows version when you report a problem from the app.

Payments are handled by our payment provider, which receives your payment details directly. We never see or store your full card number. We use your email only for your purchase, your licence, and important product notices, unless you choose to receive more.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the service: Cloudflare (website hosting, file storage for support attachments, and the AI service that drafts first answers to support requests), Supabase (account, order and support database), our payment provider (checkout and taxes), and an email delivery service (sending your key, receipts and support replies). They process data only on our behalf and do not use it to train their models.

Support requests

An automated assistant reads each support request to sort it and, when the answer is in our help content, reply right away. Its replies are labelled as automated. Refunds and anything sensitive are always decided by a person.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as needed to honour your licence and meet legal and tax obligations. Support requests and their files are deleted two years after they are closed; unconfirmed requests are deleted after two days.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete your personal information by opening a support request. We may need to keep some order records where the law requires it.
